These Insider Secrets Reveal The Strange Eating Habits Of The Royal Family

For nine years starting in 1982, Darren McGrady served as a personal chef to the British royal family. There’s no one better, then, to dish up the secrets on a side to the Windsors many never get to see: their eating habits. At Buckingham Palace in London, dining is a highly formal affair. At Balmoral in Scotland, however, things are entirely more relaxed. Nevertheless some royal routines are downright bizarre.

While Princess Diana appeared to eat the same as everyone else, she was hiding a dark secret. The princess asked McGrady to cut out all fats and red meat. But what nobody had known was that she was also concealing her bulimia. However, once she had addressed her issues, she loved nothing more than fish, and stuffed eggplant and bell peppers.
