Perhaps the most prolific writer of the 20th century, Isaac Asimov produced over 500 hundred novels during his lifetime. Best known as author of sci-fi classics I, Robot, Nightfall and the Foundation series, he also dabbled in non-fiction, tackling subjects as diverse as Biblical history and genetics. His legacy includes the language and laws of robotics, a more realistic Star Trek and an almost endless back catalogue.
