Bell then left Michigan for the Big Apple, and enrolled at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. The young performer was a musical theater student at the college. And this eventually led to an incredibly exciting opportunity on Broadway.
Indeed, Bell was still studying when she made her debut on the stage in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Away from Broadway, the Michigan native also appeared in her first movie in 1998. Indeed, she took on an uncredited role in the romantic comedy Polish Wedding.
Some three years later, Bell got a role in Louis C.K.’s Pootie Tang. But her life changed forever in 2002. Indeed, that year she earned a role in the Broadway adaptation of The Crucible. And at that point, she then made a bold decision.
