18. Bryce Dallas Howard
Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard lets her daughter Beatrice express herself in any way she wants. Even if that means having no hair. “She was bald for a very long time, and so gender [was] a little unclear,” the actress told People in 2017. “But that was fine, and there was no problem. I really wanted to wait for her to lead me in a certain direction.”
17. Russell Brand
Before Russell Brand’s daughter was born, he went on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2016 and remarked on how he intended to raise the baby. “I may not even ever impose a gender upon it, let the child grow up and be whatever the hell it is, never tell it there is such a concept,” he said. And now that his daughter has arrived, he is sticking by his conviction by not automatically dressing her in clothes traditionally associated with girls.
16. Jaime King
Jaime King’s mother was a big advocate for LGBT rights, and now Jaime is the same way. She’s bringing up her children, Leo and James, gender-neutral. Not only that, but in 2016 she launched the world’s first gender-neutral children’s clothes line, Gardner and the Gang. “It’s not about me putting out an agenda,” she told Stylecaster in 2017. “It’s more, ‘If you like it, you wear it. Great.’ Why can’t kids just explore and be who they are?”
